“Our Summer Missions Team is one of the most exciting ministries I’ve been involved with. Through the program, a group of strangers come together to form a true Biblical community. They work to serve one another, and hold one another accountable in their personal spiritual walks. During the course of the summer, they learn how to work together as the body of Christ to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks. They also develop a sense of family and trust that many don’t have the opportunity to experience in today’s world. As they grow together and discover what it means to live in community and serve Christ together, it fuels their passion and desire to selflessly serve others. There’s an amazing transformation that occurs in the lives of the Summer Missions Team members during their ten weeks serving on the campgrounds. They become the type of church that God describes in his Word in Acts 2.”
