This year represents a monumental milestone in the life of Whitehall Camp & Conference Center. Through the years, Whitehall has been one of the most effective ministry tools in the work of the Church of God in Western PA. The year 2017 marks the 125th anniversary of Whitehall Camp. The work of Whitehall Camp through those 125 years is visible proof of the faithfulness of God to His people that we see recorded in Psalm 100:5, “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations,” (NIV). To honor and thank Him, we are planning a celebration for Camp Meeting in 2017, and we would like to invite YOU to be a part.
Here is how you can celebrate with us:
1.)Begin saving 125 of some coin or dollar value to benefit next year’s mission project.
For example, one could collect 125 pennies, dimes, quarters, $1, $5, $10, etc. This will be taken up as a special offering at Whitehall Camp Meeting 2017.
2.)Send old photos, documents, and other memorabilia from days-gone-by in for display in our museum tent.
3.)Keep the story alive & write out your Whitehall Camp experience!
If you have a story worth sharing that involves your best memories of Whitehall Camp, Youth Camp, Camp Meeting, or other events on the Grounds, we would love to publish it. In 250 words or less, write your story to be included in the celebration booklet, pre-service slide announcements, posters around camp, evening newsletter during Camp Meeting, and other venues.
4.)Purchase an “ad” in the celebration booklet.
The funds generated by these “ads” will help to defray the cost of producing and printing the booklets. Full-page ads are $300, half-page ads are $150 and quarter-page ads are $75. You can design the ad yourself and we will edit to fit the space, or you can provide the information and we will design the ad for you.
A list of activities for the 125th celebration will soon be posted on this website. Check back soon for more information!
We hope to see you this summer at Whitehall Camp & Conference Center as we celebrate God’s providence over the years past and those yet to come!
